I actually worked this one out by myself. I'm not very good at them, but I'm drawn to them like a siren song. Floaten, the creator, is an evil genius! Haha

I love puzzle caches...you get the joy of getting the puzzle right THEN finding the cache! Since this was on the other side of town, I corralled the boys into going with me after Thanksgiving dinner at the OD's.

It was UNDER a redman. I almost gave up looking for it. I fell in the mud looking at a telephone pole.

This is the farthest LCCC from my house so I've put it on the back burner.

"J" wanted to stop by the gaming store on JFK in Sherwood...."Hmmm, that's not too far" So bribed him with coffee and he babysat Baby Sister for me while I went out looking.

At first glance this cemetery isn't that interesting. But the farther back you walk into it, the more you find. I even found a really fluffy white feather. I'm part hippy, so I took it as a sign/hello.

Log was in good order and dry. Plenty of space left. :)

I saw these bison on my way out to get honey a few months ago. As soon as I saw a cache nearby, I added it to the top of my TODO list. We were back at the Bee Man's place for holiday reasons...so I thought we'd stop by.

GOOD thing I brought Brian. The way it was hidden I needed a tall person. The bison were in the back pasture, so we didn't see them really well. They were also mixed in with cattle.

Easy find. #4/15

My Knitting bestie and Geocache mentor took her family out to find all of these in one fell swoop. She got to the final coordinates only to find the whole area bulldozed!! The owner contacted me that evening to let me know the situation is being fixed. WOW! How sweet of him to notice that I've been working on them and to let me know the status. What a great  community. So I think we'll put this on pause till he sorts it all out.

This was at the corner of two busy streets...and in a muddy area. Glad I wore rainboots. I feel like such a criminal pawing around on street signs. I actually found this on the ground. The magnet must have not been secure from the last finder. Anyway we put it back properly.

This week Jesse wanted to head down to the big library in Jacksonville. I wanted to grab the two closest caches. This one was hard for us. It was at a local Antique shop. I felt bad moving around her items to search for something. (Like I was manhandling the merch)

Talked to the owner, Sherry. Thanked her for allowing us to geocache at her business. I have never seen a cache so small!!

We weren't sure where to look. The phone GPS I used is kind of vague. So we're walking up and down a VERY busy road. (Which taught me to cache on a busy road NOT during the end of the workday (5pm)

This was a perfect day and time for our first cache. Jesse may have to be coerced into participating,  but it's a healthy, low cost, and family orientated hobby. I do realize that this is MY new addiction and I should only nag them into coming when I think they'll really enjoy themselves.
